Terms of service

1. The service

Cling Works is software you use in a web browser to manage enquiries, quotations, orders, production, inventory, purchasing, invoicing and related work. We host it, keep it running, and improve it over time. Features that are planned but not yet built are listed on our roadmap; dates there are estimates, not promises.

2. Your account and workspace

• You must give accurate details and keep your sign-in secure. You are responsible for everything done through the accounts in your workspace.
• The person who creates a workspace is its owner and decides who else may use it and with what role.
• You must be at least 18 and authorised to act for the business you register.

3. Trial, plans and payment

• New workspaces get a 14-day free trial. No card is needed to start.
• After the trial, continued use needs a paid plan. Prices are shown on our website in Indian rupees and exclude GST, which is charged at the applicable rate.
• Plans are paid a year at a time, in advance, and do not renew automatically: a new year starts only when you pay for it, from Settings → Billing or against our invoice.
• We remind you in the product before your year ends. A workspace whose year ends without renewal becomes read-only; your data is not deleted because of a missed payment for at least 60 days.
• Refunds follow our refund and cancellation policy.

4. Your data

Everything you put into your workspace — customers, prices, drawings, documents, transactions — belongs to you. You give us permission to store and process it only to provide the service to you. We do not sell your data or use your business data to market to your customers. You can export your data at any time from Settings → Data, and ask us to delete your workspace. How we handle personal data is described in our privacy policy.

5. Compliance documents

Cling Works prepares GST invoices, e-invoice and e-way bill data, delivery challans, ITC-04 returns and similar documents from the information you enter. You remain responsible for the accuracy of that information and for filing returns and meeting your obligations under GST and other laws. Please check documents before you issue or file them, and ask your tax adviser where in doubt.

6. Acceptable use

• Do not use the service to break the law, to send spam or unsolicited messages, or to send messages on WhatsApp, email or other channels without the recipient's consent.
• Do not try to reach another customer's data, probe or disrupt the service, or resell it without our written agreement.
• We may suspend an account that puts the service or other customers at risk, and will tell you why.

7. Third-party services

Some features connect to services run by others — for example email providers, WhatsApp Business, IndiaMART, payment gateways and AI models used to read enquiries. Your use of those services is also subject to their terms. We are not responsible for their availability.

8. Availability and support

We aim to keep the service available around the clock and take daily backups, but we do not guarantee uninterrupted service. Planned maintenance is announced in advance where we can. Support is by email at info@clinginfotech.com on Indian working days.

9. Liability

The service is provided with reasonable skill and care. To the extent the law allows, we are not liable for indirect or consequential losses such as lost profits or lost business, and our total liability to you for any claim is limited to the fees you paid us in the twelve months before the claim.

10. Ending the agreement

You can stop using the service and cancel at any time. We may end the agreement with 30 days' notice, or immediately if you seriously breach these terms. After cancellation you have 30 days to export your data before we delete it, except where we must keep records by law.

11. Changes

We may update these terms. For material changes we will give you at least 15 days' notice by email or in the app. Continuing to use the service after that means you accept the new terms.

12. Law and disputes

These terms are governed by the laws of India. Courts at Ghaziabad, Uttar Pradesh have exclusive jurisdiction. Before going to court, please write to us — most problems are solved quickly.
