Delete your XERP account
Last updated 22 September 2026
XERP — on the web and in the XERP app for Android and iPhone — is run by Cling Info Tech Works Private Limited. You can delete your account and the personal data that goes with it at any time, in any of the three ways below.
1. In the app
Open the XERP app, go to the You tab and tap Delete account…
2. On the website
Sign in and open Settings → Your account.
3. Without signing in
Enter the address you sign in with and we will email you a link to confirm. Nothing is deleted until you open it.
What happens
Deleted
- Your name, email address and password, and any Google or Microsoft sign-in linked to it.
- Every sign-in session, on the web and on phones, and the phones registered for alerts.
- The record of your sign-ins (with the addresses they came from) and of which screens you used.
- Your notifications, your personal saved views and your personal BCC-logging address.
- Your membership of every workspace, and invitations you sent that were not yet accepted.
- Any workspace where you are the only member, with everything in it.
Kept
- Records you made for a company that others still use — enquiries, quotes, orders, invoices, stock entries, the audit trail. They belong to that company, which must keep business and tax records (usually eight years), so they stay with it and show “Deleted user” instead of your name.
- Tax invoices we issued for a subscription you paid for, for eight years, as GST law requires.
- Encrypted backups taken before the deletion, until they expire on their own, within 14 days.
When
The account is deleted 7 days after you confirm. Until then you can cancel — from Settings → Your account, from the phone app, or with the link in the email we send — and nothing is lost. If you are the only owner of a workspace other people use, make one of them an owner first.
Only some of your data?
To have particular data deleted without closing your account, or for any question about deletion, write to akshay@clinginfotech.com. We reply within 15 days. Data a company keeps about its own customers in its workspace is that company's to delete — ask them first.
